Hi, I just stumbled upon this mod and it looks great! I've got a few questions so here goes:

1. could you perhaps increase the zoom levels? It's really claustrophobic not to be able to zoom out further in RA3, something like the CnC3 zoom level would be nice.
2. is it skirmish/multiplayer only, or will you also remake the campaign?
3. will you bring back regrowing Ore fields, as well as coloured Ore?
4. the original RA units/buildings had a limited colour palette (and so has this mod) and I've noticed in some of the screenshots that amidst RA3's colourful and crazy maps the units don't stand out much. Now I'm not suggesting to change the unit texture (I think you've done a great job), but hopefully you'll also make some custom maps that aren't cluttered with "crazy" - compared to RA1's more serious tone - doodads like parasols on the beach. The one snow map in your media section is a nice example of how it should be, it adds some nice enviromental objects but it isn't cluttered like most RA3 maps.
5. will you include certain gameplay mechanics introduced in RA2 like capturable oil derricks and buildings that can be occupied by infantry?

EDIT: Since EA has released RA1 as freeware, will you use it's dialogue and music for this mod?

Sorry, Drummin's right. I was away for a while. Here's what I can tell you:
1) As far as I know, this is not possible. But our goal is to recreate RA1 as faithfully as possible--we can try to explore this as part of that effort.
2) This is undecided--I think in large part it will depend on how many map makers we can recruit.
3) We're still looking at this one, because it's really a radical change from RA1 to RA3, and we're not sure what the engine can support. It's a goal, I think. If we can, we almost definitely will.
4) This is also undecided, but it's more doable than #2 and something we'd like to try, I think.
5) All that is still open to change, but I think it's very unlikely you'll find oil derricks.

Wow, this is the mod i have been waiting for for like 15 years. RA is the best C&C game ever. Well, personaly i think the best C&C game would be a mix of RA and Generals. Grievous, i don't mean to hijack your thread, but i also have some questions about this mod. I know you are trying to be as loyal to the first game as possible but.....

1)Will there be a sort of Rules file so that we can tweak the game to our little hearts' desires (ie. giving the APC the pillbox gun or giving the radar jammer the flameball from the flame tower and adjusting unit/building allegiance, cost,damage ect.)? Basically can a lay-person tweak it?
2)Can there be Promotions or Protocols? It would be nice to have that extra effect like to call in a bombing run or arty strike or tank drop or something like we saw in generals.(spectre gunship)
3)Will you add any new units or units from other C&C's like maybe the helix or gatling tank?
4)Will there be upgrades for structures and units?
5)Can both sides please have paratroopers and not 5 but like 15?
