I have started editing 00allstars.big to try and make the game have more upgrades for the Red Alert Alliance.(Since the they have 3 and 4 less than the others.)

In this case it was to add another upgrade to the Frag Ordnance and increase the explosion radius by a further 25%.

I have edited redinfantry.ini, upgrade.ini and weapon.ini.

The game now comes up with a serious error every time i try to launch it now. What do i need to do to get it to work? (I am not using a different cameo with this upgrade but i can if necessary).

Try running WorldBuilder and read the error message that pops up. It usually has a clue on what you did wrong.

Adding an upgrade would also require a new command button with the upgrade and a new command set with the upgrade. Maybe you could take a look at the china mines. It is similar to what you are trying to do.

Are you allowed to release a further edited verion of allstars.big?

To change the camera zoom in game go into 00allstars.big\gamedata.ini then search for this

CameraHeight = 232.0
MaxCameraHeight = 310.0
MinCameraHeight = 120.0

You can then change them to your liking but if you zoom out too far the title screen goes a bit strange but it doesn't affect gameplay.
