I've been looking around On world builder and I can't seem to find a way to make one of the USA cargo planes land and stay put. Anyoen know how to?

-- eh no, unmanning the plane when it passes over an area, it just falls flat.
"Sir, we are surrounded!"
"Excellent! That means we can attack in any direction!"

I have not tried this... but you could try making the unit unmanned when it gets into an area.
*** IF ***
  Unit 'CargoPlane' enters area 'LandingStrip'
*** THEN ***
  Make Unit 'CargoPlane' unmanned.

Maybe you should try to make a script that makes the plane land then try Drummin's Scripting.

A script to simply make a plane land doesn't exist Turret...

Really?
Maybe I think there's a script to change an object's height on terrain, maybe that would work
