Like the topic title: how do I make my mod easy to install. I currently have to remove INI.big from my generals directory as my mod does not work when it is in there. For some reason, I cannot just put a .big file in the generals folder and have it work.

any ideas?

edit: I was looking at this  post and saw this:
"i suggest you don't delet the files in INI.BIG, b/c those are your back-up files, if you have another BIG file or stuff in you INI folder, it overights INI.big, so u don't have to delete it."

however, this did not work with my .big file. When I put the files in teh INI folder, the game started, but none of my unit artwork was in there! AAAAH!

I had used to have the same problem try putting a 0 as the first character in the files name

Yes, Generals/ZH loads .BIG files alphabetically - so if you start yours with a 0 or something before "I" it should work.

Thanks! I am experiencing technical difficulties, however, so if you could shed some light on it please post here
