Hey,I was wondering if I could add a machine gun to the top of a paladin tank.I tried this a couple of times before but nothing worked out... Can someone help? (I'm talking about doing this in a map .ini not a mod)

finding a model for it: Not easy.

I'd be tempted just to attach a technical to it. What were your attempts?

I was thinking of just adding a tachnical machine gun with a gunner guy to it.It might not look pretty but I think It's a very original idea 😉

Man if you prepared to go this far!!! Then go all the way! by making the overlords upgrade options available on them,,,,,,, also I think you’ve missed the point, The Paladin already has a super ability! adding more to it, is like GLA in Zero Hour!! makes me sick.
You just want to bash,, no skill involved,

OK, so I didn't manage to add a machine gun to a paladin ... but here's something else
I made the toxin rebel actually a flame rebel 😎 Here's the code:

I believe if you did not want the "guy shooting the gun" you could replace the laser weapon of a paladin to a machine gun weapon. You would have to have something like this.

this is the closest thing you have to a separate turret for mg. [as far as my experience goes]

If not that then you would most likely have to add a secondary weapon launch bone to the model (mod)(NOT SURE if this would work)

NOTE NOTE NOTE NOTE NOTE To w3d model editing!!!!! you CANNOT add a 2nd TURRET!!! if you want a seperate turret for the machine gun it would have to do with giving the tank a modded gatt cannon (overlord but different look) on top of your tank. This would be too boring for me to even do. The only thing that you could do with this is just have the mg. follow your tank turret.
maybe you could attach a technical turret dude to the mg. but it would fall in with the overlord coding stuff(i THINK)

I dont get the point of map.ini i enjoy doing it the HARD way (scrolling to your destination)
