Hello,

I'm using a fade to change time of day on the map I'm working on.
"Fade (0-1) from 0.00 to 0.18 subtracting toward black."
The problem is that when game is in this mode, the units don't show the
status bar when hovered over or selected.
Is there a better code for changing time of day?
And/Or
Is there a code for showing status bar when hovered and selected?
Thanks for your help!

Well I thought there was a script to change the time of day, but I looked for it in the obvious placed & couldn't find it. You could try a full scale search through all the scripts if you want. But it you don't find it, I dought you'll find a script better then that slite fade.

Thanks for checking Me Myself And Pi.
Well if I can't find scripting for showing status bar, should I keep the change time of day script?
I guess that would make a good poll.

How come you want to change the time of day? The only way I can think of is if you were making a cut scene. If that was case, you wouldn't need the status bar to show.

I guess that's one vote for not changing time of day.

I like the effect, and the game is still playable during night mode. It would be nice to have all units with their "lights on" if I could figure out how to make that happen. I still haven't heard any word on if it's possible to show unit status bar which was the main topic of this post.

Unless I get an overwhelming negative response to "Not having the status bar" I will probably keep night mode or change time of day in the game. It adds interest and realism to the game.
