Hi guys,

Looks like this forum isn't so active as of late.

You've been asked this question before, I'll ask it again: how do you all guys get the custom maps to show up in the Skirmish Menu??? I have Vista, downloaded all the maps, stuck them here:

c:\Users\AppData\\Roaming\Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\Maps

I left the downloads in the folders they came in, they show up in the Map Manager, I am able to open them up in World Builder. And they simply don't show up in the Skirmish menu. I don't get it. What am I doing wrong????

Unfortunately, yes. Personally I've been playing Halo 3 for the last few weeks; amazing game.

Where did you download "all the maps"? Regardless, you have the right idea. You extract/move them intact (with their folders) to:

C:\Users\My Name\AppData\Roaming\Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\Maps (I have Vista too)

A typical look inside of the folder/s you placed would be a .map file and a .tga file at the least. Some might even come with .str (String files) and .xml files. If the folders are placed correctly and the maps working, there might be a MapCache.ini (DO NOT EDIT, if you have before, delete it and the game will create a new one).

Anyways, if the map file is not corrupted, it should show up in the maps list with the other maps when you move your mouse over the Skirmish tab and click New Skirmish, or whatever the button is called for a local skirmish match against the AI.

Oh!!! Helloooooo..... It's not under Skirmish->Custom Map. It just gets added to the list alongside the regular maps. Thanks bunches. I've got a lot of playin' to do now. 😛
