Would you rather see a mod with a ww2 setting or not?

(this may influence any mods i might make)

Since I'm quite interested in WWII (thanks dad), I'd have to say hell yes!

I prefer quality to setting it is is good and plays nice then I would play it no matter what the setting was.

Being the bloodthirsty warmongrel that I am, I generally like games based on war. WWII is a bit overdone, though, both in C&C mods and FPS games.

If I think about it, I probably don't have any games not based on war. Some of my friends think thats kind of weird... Exept my one friend... He still thinks Germany should have won world war 2.

I have mostly violence-oreinted games some sports games and thats pretty much it
i think world war 2 is an overused subject for games now but some new ww2 games are interesting

I'm difineltly no ww2 expert but i think the axis would have won if they could have

isnt there enough WW2 games already!? I'm really tired of seeing so many WW2 games, they've pretty much overkilled the era already.

The axis did have some great advantages, and if they had a better leader other then hitler, they could have won. For example, the panther tank, is widly voted the best tank of world war II next to the russian T-34-85. If they made more of these instead of tigers, they would have definatly gave the allies a run for their money. I like games that take the axis POV.

Also, Hittler kept his Panzer divisions near Dunkirk (i think that is where it was) instead of countering the Allied Invasion. He would have crusged the allieds then and there if He had set up a counter attack.

Yes germany could have won. What is cool to think about is world war 3 though. If it did happen, it would be so incredably advanced.
For example, imagine a the phone call between enimeis. You attack me, I'll send 200 abrams tanks after you. You do that and I launch a nuke at you. You do that, and I'll send marines into your country for a raid. You do that and I'll launch my big plazma ion cannon at you. Okay, nobody has a big.... laser thing but it still would be pretty harsh. Our bombs and weapons do so much more now. In world war 2 you would be scared about a gernade coming at you. How about now, when we have fully automatic gernade launchers???
I find the whole idea quite interesting and am making a mod for Company of heroes for it.
