I have a mod idea, but if you guys don't download there is really no point in me doing it so I'm gonna ask you: would you download a mod that made a completely modern battlefield aspect for all 3 sides (making the GLA a terrorist group) including new units, realistic damage, upgrades and real units instead of made-up ones?

sounds like a great mod. That was the whole idea that I liked generals is because its modern. There are alot of good war games out like age of empires, but the moderns ones are WAY better. I also think the futuristic ones sre weird too which is why i didnt get C&C3. but anyways i say go ahead, I'll download it.
The apocalypse has begun...

Heres a few pictures of some models I have done. I will soon publish the mod's info and all of its changes, subject to change. LOL the second one down is a BRDM, the others are pretty self-explanatory. I really can't figure out what makes the BRDM look so bad. Can anyone help out here?

Depends on the final product. If it is any good, sure, i'll download it. Hopefully it isn't a bunch of modified .big files though, i'm not willing to download 1-2gb.

Then my guess is that he is using the MeshSmooth Modifier when it is not needed.

You mean a cylinder rather than a rectangle...

Nah, he used a rectangle for that BRDM, but is just he used the wrong type causing the program to apply smoothness to the top half.

I think it looks too fat, imagine it shorter, does it look any better?

Less fat, shorter, and the wheels could be slitghtly bigger.
So basically you should liposuction it, chop the butt of and augment the wheels

Here we go the new BRDM. Didnt upsize the wheels because I thought the smaller vehicle may make them look bigger. What do you think?
