After one unzips the compressed file, what does one do with the RiverMadness folder and it's 5 files?

I tried emailing Drunkenmunkey@"666"hotmail.com (without the 6's) and was told that address didn't exist. You would think that if someone was using an address as a contact they would have enough courtesy keep it working.

Uh, it's hard to be certain, but I'm guessing you're having trouble installing a custom map?

If so, go into: My documents > Zero Hour > Maps.

Click and drag all the files into that folder. Should be good to go, man.

When I go into all the folders and compare the file types, it doesn't appear the solutiion is as you suggest. The MAPS folder is empty and the MAPSPreviews folder has files with different names in it. I can't find any file types to match the 5 in the River Madness folder. Maybe you could download the RiverMadness ZIP file and take a look at it, see what you think.
Thanx

If it is a mod then extract it to your Zero Hour folder. If it is a map, extract to the maps folder Twii Light showed you.

There is no "Maps and Mods".

Uh yeah, if there is no maps in it, that doesn't mean anything. I think you're presuming that you would find all the other regular maps in that folder? If so, nope, only custom maps go into that folder.

I made that same mistake when I was new.

So all five of those decompressed files go in that folder, right?

They are right. Just extract/place it in the corresponding folders.

I moved it to "Maps and Mods" because a) thats where it belongs and b) that way the mappers know where to look :D

I merged your double post; next time you can use the "edit" button (that little icon with a paper and pencil). Your post will still be updated as new and it saves space on the pages.

OK, thanx. I'll give it a try. Once I'm able to do it correctly so that it works properly, I won't sound like such a dummy.
