I have some questions about the Pro:Gen mod. It seems highly regarded, but there's not much details on it.

What is it? What does it change in the game?
Any concerns on the Pro:Gen mod I should know about?
What if I don't want it anymore, is it perfectly safe to just get rid of it and continue with the game?
Which folder do I put the mod into?

Pro:Gen is a Generals mod (a ZH version also exists) that tries to bring back a lot of the features that were originally intended to be added to Generals but then cut from the final product. For instance, the Generals version replaces the General's Points system with one that lets each side choose from one of three generals in the middle of a battle.


Like all mods, Pro:Gen introduces a few more bugs into the game. Of course, it also fixes some of the bugs from the original game.


I believe that Pro:Gen comes with an uninstaller program. Use that to remove the mod when you are done.


I'm also fairly sure that Pro:Gen comes with an installer program (it wouldn't make sense to have one without the other). In that case, simply install it to your Generals/ZH directory.
