I don't know much about makeing or modifying maps, but I think you would need to open the maps in Worldbuilder and take away many of the scripts currently in them.

Requested that this get moved to "Maps and Mods".

Here is how to get campaign maps into Skirmish. (courtesy of Flip1299)

step 1: make sure that you have Finalbig

step 2: run finalbig

step 3: click open and direct it to the zero hour directory (the standard is C:\Program Files\EA Games\Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour)

step 4: in the zero hour directory open the MapsZH.big file

step 5: go into edit and click extract all

step 6: again, direct it to the zero hour directory and click ok

now you should have a maps folder in the zero hour directory (C:\Program Files\EA Games\Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour\Maps)

step 7: in the maps folder will be all the official maps, copy the folder of the map you want and paste it in My Documents\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour Data\Maps

as far as I can tell that is what he meant. You would need to extract teh maps so that you can edit them, but you would also have to take out pretty much all the scripts already in place, and you would have to replace/delete/modify a lot of waypoints, trigger areas and such.

You can battel on it normally. When you do what I posted, it adds All maps into the ZH Map folder. when you play Skirmish, All Officail maps and campaing made will be under the "unofficial maps" list.
