I,m trying to add the "death hand" from the Holland add on to the USA side. I've cloned and renamed the "superweapon" Building/command button/command set/..........and added the cloned command button to the america dozer construct list. I also removed the prerequisite (Holland war academy) to keep it simple. The problem is, it doesn't work. Can anyone out there tell me what I'm doing wrong???

What exactly is wrong with it? Does the button not show up? Is the button ghosted out? Does the superweapon not fire?

What happens is the game does not run at all. I get a "serious error message"......Now if I simply put a " construct HollandSuperweapon" command in the commandset for the USA "dozer" I get the DeathHand icon as a potential item of construction but with the message "requires Dutch war academy". Any further modifications that I've tried always end up causing the game not to run at all.

Have you tried running WorldBuilder with your modification? WB is very good at sniffing out most bugs in the INI code.

Sounds like good advise...........I will try it....but in the meanwhile, I think I figured it out. Once again, I believe it's somthing obvious. I am currently investigating a theory.I will let you know.

Once again, it was my oversight. I wanted to create a seperate entry for the weapons set so I could ajust the paramenters independant of the Holland settings. So I placed the new weapons set name in the appropriate place. Problem is, I simply forgot to create this new weapon.
