i just found out about this game on the homeworld2 forums, it looks very interesting and it's a space rts game. it's unknown when it's coming out and they dont have a distributer yet, the game itself looks great though, i hope they release a demo 😁

After I watched the trailer, it reminded me ALOT of Star Wars.

the hyperspace like jumping into a system did remind me of star wars too but the weaponsystems did not. in starwars the lasers are mostly short beams and so are the ion cannons. but in this game they are alot of long beams and the energy shields are very visible. i must say that the part where they destroyed a planet by 'harvesting' it to bits does remind me a little bit of starwars too since thats what the emperor did against mon calamari with some special ships (was actually a clone of the emperor but with thesame soul, and luke had fallen to the dark side at that time and was leading the attack).

there's one more space rts coming out soon, i'll make another topic for it soon but it looks great too. i love these space rts games and 2 of em coming out so close to eachother is great 😄
