Go through this list  and this list  of mods to find more info on them and other mods, as well as where their homepage is. I have not seen too many mods for Generals being updated lately, so check out the Zero Hour mods.

In any case, I don't think that All-Stars would fit into the category that OMRi1712 is looking for. All-Stars is meant to be more of a conversion than an expansion.
