just another map i'm working on for C&C Generals

Things to add...

*textures almost done ( need to here feedback for that )
*adding a "suburbs" aside from the small town
*more detail
*areas and waypoints of coures
*maby some defensive buildings to promote infantry
*maby some oil derrects
*prolly a hospital

any comments, advice, or critizims are more than welcome๐Ÿ˜‰

[Advice] Grass and trees at the town area, it may be winter but unless you're in the antartic, there's bound to be some vegetation, especially around human settlements.
[Advice] Move that gas station off the road, not every car needs to stop there every time they use that road.
[Criticism] The southern player will be at an disadvantage in terms of supplies. Not only does the northern player gets easy access to two supply docks, the southern player's only supply dock can easily be attacked by artillery from the northern player.
[Advice] Some fences around certain houses may make things look better.

the cliffs...

look at my cliff tutorial...

and remember to add sound flaggs
it makes the feeling hell of alot better

ok heres the update and thing iv done today

i decided to add some "History" to this map...The Chinese have deserted a temp base and it seams they left in a hurry for some reason becuase the buidings are still in place and the automated defense network is still in oporation! OMFG!!!!๐Ÿ˜ฎ

haha n e way you now have to fight through a defense system and a few rebel civs to gain cool stuff

things to do still

* add supplys to the chinese base
* test the map a couple more times to make sure things are working well
* add more detail to cliffs

and of coures comments are more than welcome

It looks... well, Plain. Spice it up by Combining Different ground / Cliff textures, But make sure they flow well. Never underestimate (or Overuse) sound flags. They can add a whole lot of Atmosphere to a map.

I just want to say that the map looks good. Although as already said, a bit plain.
The trick is to get the right flow of textures on the map. If you study the Generic EA made maps, you will notice that the floor is often made of no less than 3 textures.

Try to get in some different shades of snow in there. And i'd follow the advice stated to put in some sound flags.
I think it's done with Waypoints named things like Amb_AmbientLoopBlablabla?

Anwyays, yeah the map looks pretty good. Keep up the work->
