Hi

I need to know which script that i have to use to get my Skirmish Player so they can start building there base when the game start . This is for my map ( Tank and Infantry only ) .This map is for ( Generals ) not for Zero Hour .I have to start from bottom to top for my ( AI ) since this is a special map .I need some advise it would be appreciated Thank you .

P.S. They only start building when i pay them a visit .

Hello Gamer,

Your post mentioned that you wanted the AI to build at game start (Which they would anyway), but also in PS you said that they would start building once they were discovered by you, so that's what I think you ment to say.

I also assumed that this is a two player map. If not, make adjustments to player civilian script that detects if Local Player (This Player's Enemy) has units in area InnerPerimeter2 for the AI base you wish to not build until dicovered.

I would suggest that you import this script into a test map first and see if this is what you're looking for. This file also contains default AI scripts for players.

Note: This is another fine example of using a marker to communicate across player folders. (Marker is included in the script file at an elevation of -6 feet, 675 by 834 or there abouts.)

Sorry it took so long to answer back . One of my nephew came to visit for some days .

No that was not what i was looking for but i found what i was looking for while readings some post in the Forum.

I have a question for you .
Me and my nephew tried to play on your Four corner map for Zero Hour with the AI and the match would be cancel every time we tried to play . Is there a bug in it or is it just because we were 2 Human player against the AI ?

Not Sure. You know I haven't looked at that thing for ages. It was the first map I ever made and I know I used in a lot of the scripts. Knowing what I do now, I could certainly fix that up so all players would have Lasers. Both Human and AI. In any case, sorry I didn't work for your match.

Yes, that map was made to be a skirmish map, not a multi-player map. I am, because of your post revamping the code so every player will have lasers. Any Human or AI. So it would then be a true multi-player map. I have a few more tricks I might add to it as well. We'll see.

I'm not sure if this forum would accept another version of this map though.

The forum should accept your new version of the old map when you submit it . Just tell them that its to replace the old map . Tell them you made some correction to the map and what kind of correction or adjustment you made to the map . Your map should be accepted . Thank you .
