I was wondering how to add custom music to a skirmish map, I tried but the music only played for 7 seconds and then it went back to normal. Also when I release the map, how will other people here the music if they don't have it?

As far as I know: Not possible without releasing a mod to go with it.

The 7 second thing is something you have to work around, it takes about 7 seconds for the game to load the default sound tracks and it will override any song already playing. To get around it, set a timer for about 8 seconds and then play the music when it expires.
