Dear forum i'm seeking for help after endless hours of trying.

The game starts normal but when I want to play skirmish the screen goes black but the music still
plays. Also the multiplayer button in the top right corner exists.

If anybody needs more information about the issue please ask.

It would be cool if anybody has an idea how to fix this issue.

Black screen had happend to me before according to my experience is that when it goes black screen it means that your device may or cannot handle the effects.

well i cannot solve your problem but re-installing the game worked for me.

The problem is with your aspect ratio of your game and your gpus respective ratio or your cpus so change your setting. If your screen goes black while playing games, it might indicate a serious problem with your hardware and software. Using a system restoration software will quickly get rid of the Black Screen while gaming issues. Applying the latest Windows 10 and hardware updates will also get rid of the problem.

In short words, just get a better and High Edge PC or GPU and CPU that can handle Generals Requirements
