The reason why I came and request for help because I'm desperate.

I have basic modding skills. I have looked in many files in Zero hour folder.
I yet to find what I'm looking for.

I'm trying to play 1v1 matches with a friend, and both of us agree that it would be more fun if we can slowdown multiplayer games.

My understanding is that the game speed is tied to FPS. And I have read about the difficulty of slowing down multiplayer, but all those posts are very old.

What I want to have is to slowdown the game just like in skirmish mode.

Is there, for the love of god, any way to do that (other than modding every unit in the game + all general powers + all building build speed, etc)? Or force the game to have lower FPS without having disconnection errors?
