HI all just wondering how do I edit ini files for Shockwave? (I only want to edit them for my own personal use of course, things like cooldown times, build times etc etc...)

when I use the finalbig extractor on the INIZH file everything extracts fine, but when I go to run shockwave I get a serous error message. I'm on win 10 x64 bit if that's important.

Any help would be great guys cheers 🙂

Where did you extract the inizh.big file? If you extracted it to the game's folder and in your data folder you have a new INI folder, then delete it. Extract this file !Shw_ini.gib to your game's folder and check if you have a new INI folder in your data folder.

If you're wanting to edit Shockwave's stuff then you need to edit their files, not INIZH.

How shockwave works is it puts it's files in the ZH folder, but saves them with a .GIB file extension so ZH dosn't recognize them, and it will run vannila ZH. When you open Shockwave it renames the files to .BIG, then opens ZH which sees the files, and runs the mod. It then reverses the process on shutdown.

Anyways, look for !Shw_ini.GIB and tell it to open with FinalBIG, and it will open like any other .BIG file.
All the shockwave INIs are in there.

Also, you shouldn't have to actually extract the files, you can edit them inside FinalBIG.
There's a few out there that prefer Notepad instead, you can do that from inside FinalBIG by going into an INI, clicking Edit, Edit with Editor.
