Note: This is Only an Alternative Tutorial made by Adriane Focusing only in Animating Bone and exporting it.Step 1: Find a Original Animation in W3d Big File Using A FinalBig Program; To Test With-Go Extract:
CIAman01_SKL.W3D
CIAMAN_WKA.W3D
Step 2: Go Animate Those Bone ; Dah๐ -Open Gmax with Renx Gamepack , Import The File CIAman_WKA.W3d ;You Can Import Using Import Button in "Maxscript" Top ToolBar
-Now Use "Animate" Button In "Bottom Right"
-After You click this Button You can See a Slide that i Called "Animation Line Up" that will go Red, its indicating that your going to animate your model
Note:Every Movement that you had begone in your model will become a part of animation so be careful
-when your where Moving your Bones a Blue Box Will Spawn (But In The First Place There where Got there Already because That Model is Already Animated , You Where Just Going to Edit it๐ )
Step3: Exporting Your Bone-First Select All The Bone's
-Then Click "W3d Tools" in The "Hammer" Button in Top Right , Go Scroll Down You Must see a W3d Export Settings ,Go Check only Transform Bone - The Export Geometry Should Not
-Then Go Click "File" at the Top Left ,then You will See Export Button In The Middle
-After You Click That Button
Put Your Desired File Name Then
The File Format Should W3d
not P3D Then
Click Save
Extra Note :There Are Many Types of Animation -- You Should Add This into Your Name Of Your Bone at Last(For you to not Confused as EA Did):
Example: GMAN_RNA
_RNA - Running animation
_IDA - Idle Animation A
_IDB - Idle Animation B
_WKA - Walking animation
_SKL - a Bones with no animation
_SKN - the Model without animation
There Are so many of them try to see it on your own in the Game Files
-After Saving The Model there's a W3d Export Tab will Popup,Click Hierarchical Animated Model
-Under Them - The "Smooth Vertex Normals Across Meshes" Should Had Check At The First Place
then You Should see Export using Existing skeleton
-Click Browse,Click The CIAman01_SKL.w3d
