Just wondering if it would be possible to have the Tech Reinforcement Pad drop off aircraft instead of vehicles, particularly for the USA Air Force Gen. So instead of dropping him a Humvee, it instead drops him a Comanche or Combat Chinook.


On a side note, I will be sure to tone down the OPness of Rockvees in my mod, so having a Humvee drop would no longer be so much desirable than a Crusader drop (tanks will be buffed a lot in my mod). I want to ask, though, which do you think would be more balanced to drop? A Combat Chinook, or one of the AirF_ Comanches?


Also... What do you think would happen in dropping off an aircraft? Would it land on the ground with a parachute and then rise back up in the air? That might actually be kinda funny to see.


I'd test all this myself but it's been ages since I've done any ZH modding and I don't really have the time to do any right now.

First of all, Helicopters aren't "PARACHUTABLE."

I think you can add PARACHUTABLE as their KindOf, though I cannot guarantee desired results.

I tried replicating this[at 9 seconds of video onwards]: ?t=9

I have a "fake" helicopter parachute from the plane and kill itself to activate its OCL to spawn the real helicopter.
But the Helicopter will always spawn from the ground. So hm.

Unless Comanches aren't exactly the most potent thing in your mod, then its okay.
I'd rather it just have Humvees to drop.
Either that, have make it drop Avengers-- those buggers are expensive and their only good against anti-air(Unless you heavy ground as Airforce Gen, I mean, who does that?).
