Ok, so apparently in order to change the texture of a model (specifically an infantry model...) it takes a TON effort and remodeling. All I am trying to do is produce a Biohazard technician model with an alternate texture. So basically a re-skin. I have no idea what I am doing wrong. I label the model geometry and the bones as bones for exporting. There really isn't a guide that is helping me anywhere (Because this model has very odd stuff such as the small square between his legs) so any help is appreciated! The new texture and the original model(s) can be downloaded here: Click Here!

So all you want is to have that model with a different skin? Why not just edit the actual texture file, import the model and render the uvw, is easier than to make a new texture from scratch and a new uvw unwrap.

If I am not mistaking you can change the texture of a model with a hex editor, don't ask me how, never used it.
If the stuff above doesn't work you have to make a new skin on the model and bind the needed animations to the model.

Thanks to acidbrain, I now have a fully functional model! I never would have been able to do it without your help!
