I'm working on a mod which will add a fourth campaign to the game, placing the player in control of Kurdish YPG fighters and US special operators fighting against ISIS in the context of the ongoing Syrian civil war (anyone experienced with modelling or who would want to do voice acting who would be interested in helping, please let me know).

I was wondering, is it OK to use music tracks from other Command & Conquer games in this mod if properly attributed? Right now, I'm looking at using the track "Research Initiative" from Tiberium Wars, and "Iron Fist" from The Covert Operations. Respectively, these two tracks are for a single mission, playing when your special operations team is first inserted via Blackhawk helicopter, and the second playing when your team (having recruited local help along the way in the form of YPG fighters with their own specializations) has finished clearing SAM sites and gets reinforced by Little Bird attack helicopters to hold off the enemy while you extract your target, *hopefully* evacuating before the town is bombarded by the Syrian Air Force.

I wasn't sure how the permissions worked for that kind of thing.

It depend what you plan to do when you finish the mod but I would say as they are from other c&c games you'd probably be fine as long as you don't sell the mod.
