I want to create a custom unit,a Flying aircraft carrier is that possible to do? ❓
Currently learning how to create 3D models with GMAX so that I can make my C&C Generals Zero Hour mod even more better. 🙂

If you make a mobile aircraft carrier, it will drive/fly off and leave it's planes behind.

The only real alternative solution is to make an angry mob with planes.
If you need help, post in the forum. You'll get help a lot faster than if you send me a PM.

What if i edit the aircraft carrier to have transport slots(like humvees,chinook,troop crawler) then i only allow aircraft to be able to go in then when i want to release the aircraft(when i need to attack someone or to defend) then i will just make them exit 😄 .Is that going to work or not?
EDIT: Though im curious how can i make an entirely new unit model for the game? or how can i edit an existing unit model? and will it be difficult? and also how do i create new Projectiles?

I have an idea but i want to get your opinions about it.I think instead of making a flying Aircraft carrier,i think ill just make a B3 Stealth Bomber and make it large with
Scale =
and give it a Transport capability
Behavior = TransportContain ModuleTag_08

Though im wondering though if it will work,im still making it so i dont know if its gonna work the way i wanted it to.
EDIT:LoL it didnt worked the Jets dont go in the B3 Stealth bomber. 😞 wtf?

Actually, using transport slots might sorta work. You would have to give the aircraft infinite ammo. You could make the aircraft only repair at the aircraft carrier, so that the carrier would still be useful for something other than a flying factory. You should add a production limit to the carrier and its aircraft though, otherwise it would be way too powerful.

EDIT: Maybe ill try to change the Art Parameters of the MobNexus to a B3 Stealth Bomber,and give it a health amount,though im wondering if i give it a health amount and its destroyed then would all the raptors be destroyed too?

EDIT2: Ok so i created a Mob Nexus and i changed it to look like a B3 Stealth bomber,but ive got a problem,the jets dont follow the B3 wtf?

Your drone Planes need a SlavedUpdate in order to stay in range of their master. Any time they get too far away, their AI will automatically cause them to return to their master.

What if. You combine the normal TroopCrawler's attacking method with firebase logic(if you wanna see the planes).

Just make it so the planes are not selectable.

You can probably simulate Protoss Carrier in Generals, the only hitch is that what if one or more of planes die how do you put one in the transport slot to fill it up again.
Death Label:
Reduced back to 3 main factions(and a couple of extras).
Each faction can choose a(or all of them) tech-tree via General's Powers.
Angel Wings: Jets and Anti-Air, Helicopters and Missiles, Hovercraft and Lasers
Red Skulls: Armor Division, Mecha Armada, Drone Swarm
Earth's Saviors: Air Raid, Homeworld Security, Stealth

I'm wondering...

If you're using TroopCralwer attacking logic, how are you going to get the aircraft to go BACK into the mobile aircraft carrier?

And second, I think you could create an OCL that creates your planes, then create a dummy weapon that does like 0.00000001 damage (it needs to do at least some damage to actually attack), and that only spawns the OCL.

The only problem with my approach is getting the spawned units to attack, though.

Because if it needed to reload, it would need to land [which is the problem with making mobile airfields]. Which means garrisoning wouldn't cut it.
