How to mod? I know you guys are good at modding, but I don't know how.

You'll probably want to start out with coding, for that you'll need Final Big.

If you start making models, this

Just start out with the coding though, the file you'll be editing is INIZH.big. Start by changing simple things, like weapons damage and that sort of thing. Best way to learn is to experiment and explore. Also keep a backup of the original ini file, for when you break things.

I would personally download Gmax along with it's tutorial and follow that tutorial before you get into any modding that has to do with Generals or any other games. When you follow a modding tutorial, most of the time they're going to expect you to know what the tools are and where they are, and if you don't know where they are, you're screwed.

But, knowing how to code ini is generally a prerequisite for modeling, so that should probably come before trying to use Gmax.

Just so you don't make the mistake, DO NOT modify the actual .big files! Make a copy of the .ini's inside and copy them to the "INI" folder and modify those!
