I had an idea for a multiplayer map. Titled: The Crusader Games. Basically, here's the idea. You know those unused boxes in Worldbuilder you can place that spawn two Crusader Tanks? Well, what if, you had to fight, using ONLY these boxes?!? You can only build the Drones on the Crusaders and your Dozers/Workers, but your Dozers/Workers can't actually build anything. Their only purpose is to repair your Command Center and move into the boxes to get your Crusaders. There would be up to four players. There HUNDREDS, THOUSANDS of these boxes littered throughout the map, but none of them respawn. You simply get as many Crusaders as possible and destroy your enemy's Command Center. Last man standing wins.

My opinion...
Great idea!!
BUT, the map must be big and the players should be away enough from the boxes and the world should be shrouded....if it's like this...then great!

Yes, the map will be big. Purty big! I'm taking the map for the final mission of the Zero Hour GLA campaign, and modifying that into something very different! I already deleted all the objects. I'm actually working on it as I'm typing this. lol.

Well, I guess I could use it. lol... I sthere an easy way to get rid of all the Waypoints and Areas? The way I mouse-dragged and deleted every object in the box doesn't seem to work for deleting the Waypoints and Areas all at once...

Worldbuilder menu-> Edit -> Pick Containst -> Waypoints and Areas.
I think this won't let you delete all areas once.. But all waypoints.

Thanks! It worked. The area are still there, but at least there's less stuff to slow down Worldbuilder.

You got anymore idea for the map?

The story behind The Crusader games is that it is but a computer-generated world, where master of the Art of Crusading compete in a free-for all or team match to win. The simulation has several areas in the one map; desert, mountains, military base, farms, snowy mountains, beach, and more...

If you want to skip some scripting that doesn't allow dozers to build you
can use one of these 2 ways:-
1- You can put the bases start on mountains or between them.. Like
OverLord quest 2 (i guess). And put a unit.. Under or forward to these
mountains and transfer it to players.

2- Or you can don't remove all the buildings but barracks and Reactors..
Or barracks and supply stashes.

Of you want to skip some scripts that doesn't allow dozers to build you can use one of these 2 ways:-
1- You can put the bases start on mountains or between them.. Like OverLord quest 2 (i guess). And put a unit.. Under or forward to these mountains and transfer it to players.

2- Or you can don't remove all the buildings but barracks and Reactors.. Or barracks and supply stashes.

There's over 1300 Crusader Boxes littered throughout the map. A lot of them are out in the open, away from the bases. But, a lot of them are also right next hazards. Like, A CRAPTOP OF EXPLODING BARRELS AND NUKE TRUCKS! You can blow one of them up and set off a chain reaction, taking out your enemy's dear Crusaders. Or your own, if you're not carefull.

Is there a way I can spawn like, ten crates at the starting points every few minutes? Just curious.

Is there a way to make it so the warning about having over 3000 objects go away for good in Worldbuilder? I'm into 3009ish thanks to all the barrels and boxes, and every time I place something down I get the warning. But the map works just fine. it's very annoying.

I think you can spawn them each one on a waypoint or all at a waypoint but, you can't spawn them by teams.. Cuz they aren't vehicles or infantry.

I have an idea for you...
You can add an AI player in the middle of the map and put some tanks near every great amount of boxes gaurding them... By transferring the tanks to the control of the AI player.

And you can also make mountains on the shape of a square with a hole or space between them (i think two holes would be enough)And put tanks under the control of the AI player gaurding each door/hole.

You can add an AI player in the middle of the map and put some tanks near every great amount of boxes gaurding them... By transferring the tanks to the control of the AI player.
