hi,everyone, I browse Generals modding stuffs and find here. Manys topics on this forums help me a lot. Thanks!👍

Now I m stuck by Chinese entering in generals.str or generals.csf file.

Taking generals.str for example:
After I enter Chinese contents in generals.str, the Chinese charactors are displayed as messy codes, both the traditional chinese and simplified chinese.

this is what i entered in generals.str. They look pretty nomal when i open .str file in notpad.

SIDE:USAF
"The U.S. Air Force 美國空軍"
END

but in game that will be:

SIDE:USAF
"The U.S. Air Force ?眃?g茽Г专 穑<"
END

I have searched topics but there is no result can figure this out.
Expecting for help

Sounds like a character encoding issue. Unfortunately, I don't know what format Generals uses.
