Hello, I am fairly new to this website, but I recently bought the CnC Ultimate Collection and I have been unsuccessful in modding Zero Hour. Every time I launch the game, it brings up an option to choose Generals or Zero Hour. I have never modded a CnC game before, so I just need to know if there is a way to mod through Origin or if I just simply can't do it. Any help is greatly appreciated. -Thanks!

Yea I had the same problem, all that is it's askin' if you want to PLAY Generals or Zero Hour, to mod, right-click the desktop shortcut, select open file location, click the folder "Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour", not "Command and Conquer Generals"(or vice versa if you want to mod Generals) download Final-Big, put all the finalbig files, FinalBig, the Readme, and finalbigs ini, into the ZH(or generals) folder, select finalbig, and click the "Help" icon, and it will explain how to use it there. This is only for INI editing, to do other things like adding units and editing/adding factions/campaigns, go to the "modding" section at cnc labs and go to the Generals/Zero Hour section.

Thanks for the response, however I am not exactly sure how to install mods. I downloaded Final-Big and put it in the ZH folder like you said, however the main thing I am trying to do is install mods such as Shockwave.

To install mods like Shockwave, that have an installer, try changing where it installs to. Right before it starts installing it shows you what directory it's installing to. There should be some sort of browse option. When browsing, go to the folder that says something like “CommandandConquerGeneralsZeroHour.” Click on this folder (don't go into it) and then click OK. Then use Shockwave's launcher, not the Command and Conquer one.

Hope this helps
