So...

Uh...

Crash.

Does Going Over the Particles Cap crash the game?
I do know what happens if you go over it(it doesn't draw anymore particles beyond the particles cap).

But what can make the game crash if its the issue of coding?
There's nothing wrong with the coding, but the game crashes just so.

Also, a question from the certain previous topic, what can make a built unit not spawn when rolling out of the factory?


This freakin' error hurts my eyes... I doesn't tell me anything.

I don't think that an excessive amount of particles crashes the game, though it might freeze it.

Join the club.

The vanilla game is relatively unstable. Mods just accentuate the problem.
If you need help, post in the forum. You'll get help a lot faster than if you send me a PM.

I reject all buddy requests. I don't think 'buddy' needs to be made official. It's not like you're marrying me.

From what I can recall from a certain previous topic...

The solution might be that I'd personally, on my own, have to re-script the whole AI Script.
Never again, I'd use snippets of the original.

Considering my mod is Particle-heavy... I will be looking forward to freeze it!

I've tripled the game's MaxParticleCount.

So... It doesn't crash the game... But still looking forward to freezing it.

Consequence? Game running slowly with 4000+ particles.

But this is awesome.

Screenshot from USA04... Nothing much changed but it looks awesome.

I've seen this plenty of times. It's the game's engine so there's nothing you can do about it. A map that requires significant amount of pathfinding calculations and the number of objects that have to be controlled at once, will eventually leave units unresponsive at some point. If you see tanks and infantries lining up against a river bank or cliff trying to cross it, this should tell you a game crash is imminent (save yourself the time and just quit). If you don't "delete" the number of AI-controlled objects (vehicles and infantries) on the map fast enough, that will be the first symptom you'll see. Big complex maps and/or maps with many choke-points (i.e. Mountain Guns) exhibit this problem.

My theory is that when something should've been deleted by now, but isn't, and something else tries to write on top of it, an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION occurs. What I would do is edit the map to ease the pathfinder so it doesn't overload or cap the number of units they produce.

Now I think I wanna provide another map or make one... Hmm.
