Hi, i've been working on a new mod for C&C Generals and Zero Hour, The War to End All Wars.

Erase the 2 on the URL to go to the Generals version of the mod.

I also have a couple questions;
the way im trying to release this thing is simply a downloadable .BIG file. how do i get my file to override the original? im wanting to have my stuff in my file, and when you place it in the ZH or Generals directory (depending on what version you have) and play the game, have the original sides and my sides show up.

second is, does anyone know a good animation tutorial focusing on vehicle packing/unpacking?

Make sure that your BIG file starts with a 0. 0YourMod.big would work.

What I usually do:
>gather all my .BIG files and put it into a zip file.
Then just extract all the .BIG files in the main directory.
Death Label:
Reduced back to 3 main factions(and a couple of extras).
Each faction can choose a(or all of them) tech-tree via General's Powers.
Angel Wings: Jets and Anti-Air, Helicopters and Missiles, Hovercraft and Lasers
Red Skulls: Armor Division, Mecha Armada, Drone Swarm
Earth's Saviors: Air Raid, Homeworld Security, Stealth

thanks guys. and commie, if in my file i put the Humvee INIs, but using a different model, will it use my model/INIs?


edit; ive been trying to get the animation stuff to work in multiple ways, cant get it. i think it has to do with INIs. if anyone knows how to do the animation of a vehical packing/unpacking and the ini work for it, it would be great if you could get this thing working for me. if anyone want to try, post and ill PM a link to a mediafire download with all my current models for this vehical, its animations, and the INIs i have for it.

another thing ive come up with, how can i make a new tree thats already leafless, like after the dragon tank burns them?
im thinking its just a INI copy/paste, i just dont know what to change to make the DefaultConditionState that of an already burnt tree

i can do some .ini work but not to much :/ dont mod much im working on my civilwar mod but if you need mediocre .ini modding call me

thanks for the offer, but since making this topic ive found i can usally do the INIs pretty quick :/. Thanks tho.

about your mod tho, some of the stuff like infrantry and horses on my mod are from a long forgotten mod, The Great Trench War. it was never completed, but they did release the stuff they had done for it. if you want to see about using some of their stuff, ask AntiSocialKindaGuy on Moddb. he did the programming for the mod, but nobody knows how to contact the guy who did the art (models and textures).
