Does anyone know how to make guns on the side of a tank, and to have them not shoot through the tank? (such as a WW1 Mark 4) like, could i have the gun on the right shoot from 000 to 180 degrees, and the one on the left shoot 000 to -180?

If there isent code that can simply be put in for it, could i make it sortof an upgrade, or a wiered sideways model? (that moves to one side or the other as far as the game thinks, but to people its moving back and forth)

not possible to limit angles, sorry, you can only give an AcceptableAimDelta = X degrees in each direction. This causes the tank to be able to fire at an enemy that is 5 degrees to left or right from the x-axis direction of the launch bone, when X is 5. So you can give that mark tank a little space to fire in front of him, but he wont be able to rotate his guns.

hmm, you said 5 degrees from the X axis of the luanch bone. wouldent that mean i could turn the bone axis around 90 degrees? or are you talking about the global axis?

The white sphere is where the fire bone would be located, and the extruded area on the 'side turret' is the black-coloured texture. you could ofc make it much thinner to make it more realistic, just a quick model.
If you played Age of Empires 3... it gives similar effect to that off guard towers before cannon upgrade (just FX coming out, no barrel).
