I recently made an island map which involves raising the land a bit to create islands with smooth beach and steep cliff side.The edges are easy,but trying to make the area where you and the AI to build a base is a bit too hard.Need some advice here
For sure,whatever it was,the best option is to fight dirty when there's is no more choices.-That was my own philosophy.

you have to use the "height brush" tool. with that it should be easy.

Yes,but apparently it wasn't uniform.I mean one part is a little higher,and the other one opposite.I've been tackling this with the ramp tool and the height brush tool,but with little success.You can try the map if you want to see my problem   Holiday Hell.zip (164kb) downloaded 1 time(s).

then you have to get rid of that difference. just use the "height brush" tool with this settings:

Brush Width: 100
Brush Feather Width: 0
Brush Height: 160 for outer islands, 130 for middle island and bottom right island.

after that is done flatten the edged areas with the "Smooth Height" tool.
