Hey CnClabs! Its been awhile since I lurked here, and the last time I did I inquired for help and didn't really recieve any.

Well, I pulled out Zero Hour again as it is my all-time favorite RTS game, and I stumbled upon what looks to be an AMAZING mod for it called, "Shockwave".

I've looked the units and stuff over and I like and approve of everything except for one thing, that being that General Mohmar Deathstrike has this propeller plane that can infinetly fly around (without returning to an airfield).

Now, I know this sounds INCREDIBLY picky... but, if I wanted to jsut simply remove that unit from the mod/game, how do I do it...?

I know that to some this may be extremely trivial, but I have no experience what-so-ever in modding a game, so some help or a know-how on this would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks!

you have to donwload the foldered version of the Shockwave mod (available on their site).
Install it (after uninstalling the previous one ofc), and then inside these folders, go to Data, INI, find the commandset.ini file, open it, and inside find the commandset responsible for the button setup of the Deathstrike's airpad (CTRL+F and look for airpads untill you get to the Salv_ or something like that), then find the line which mentions the plane (mod has clear code, you should find it easily) and simply put a ';' at the start of the line, this makes the engine skip the rest of this line and go to the next one.
This way the button won't be available in the game 🙂

I think you can find those files by just going to zero hour data after the mod is installed.
