Being new to map making I accidentally deleted the initial orange boarder that you get on the map template. I have tried to add another boarder but this does not help. When I try to play the map all I get is a very small section of grass from top to bottom and the rest of the map is black. How can I replace the original boarder?

How did you delete the orange border? i can't even select it in worldbuilder nor can I delete it. I tried deleting it so I could try to find a solution by first creating the problem but that got me nowhere because I couldn't delete it. Could you put the map into a .zip file and upload it to the forum? maybe I can find a solution if I take a look at the map. the .zip file needs to include both the .map file and the .tga file (or just zip the folder).

Also please first check if you didn't turn of the Show map boundaries option in the view menu. If it is turned off then turn it on, it's an option to make the orange border visible or invisible so it might be that you turned it off by accident.

I have (hopefully) attached the file of my map. I have checked that map boundaries are visible. I deleted the boundary by selecting the boundary tool, selecting the north east corner of the boundary and draging it till the right horizontal line is on top of the left horizontal line. It then disappears, or at least appears to have disappeared unless it has become a very thin boundary that I can no longer see.

He did infact delete the boundry which confuses me greatly because I have never been able to do that. It looks like You put a new border which is pink, so go into scripts and have it say:

IF
'true'

THEN
((map->modify->Change the active area of the map)
'Pink Becomes the active border'

I have never seen something like this before, i tried resizing the map but it didn't work, i also tried making a new border with the border tool, it turned out to be a familiar looking orange border but it didn't work either.
I tried what Fleetatks said but i had already tried several things to the map including adding another border, that might be the reason why it didn't work for me when i tried that script. I do suggest trying out that script tkane. it might work.

I have tried what Fleetatks has suggested but am unable to get it to work. Firion Corodix, I have also tried adding and deleting boarders until I get an orange boarder again, but that does not work for me either. Is there something special about the original boarder that is not replacable. Fleetatks were you able to get the map working using the scripts?

I didn't test the script but it should work. if not then try making a timer to expire in 7 seconds and then the timer activates it. The reason why 7 seconds is the magic number is thats the amount of time it takes for everything to load and the music to start playing.

Fleetatks. Thanks for the extra info. I tried that but still no luck. I think I am going to give up on this one as it is now taking me longer to try and resolve the issue than it would to just rebuild the map!

I have one more suggestion: Add every color border that way you know they're all there then pick a color in scripts. The reason I say this is because maybe the border isn't pink but some other color listed (there are quite a lot of them.)
