I have the models i need. all i need to do is transport them into the game. but they are in gmax form. how do i switch them to w3d. i cant find an exporter or a converter. could someone give me a link plz?

Since the SAGE uses the Westwood 3D (.W3D) file formats for their models, you'll require the RenX plugin. This plugin is bundled with the Renegade Tools Pack which can be downlaoded from here:

i downloaded it because i originally got around the models. but i downloaded it and clicked install and i get this message

"This file archive is not supported"

or something close to that

Maybe you should Download WinRar? It might be in that format. I'm not sure where to get it at so you'll have to google it.

Wait, were you trying to open the .EXE with Winzip? If so, DON'T, lol.

I thought it came in a .rar and he only had the .zip openning thingy :S

Try downloading it again with the link provided above and try installing it again.
