HI. Got my GMAX flowing. I built an MLRS and now i want to skin it. How would i go about this customly as in without pre-made skins?

Replace the skin file with your own one, assuming you were following Killakanz' tutorials.

sorry, that was my problem i couldnt find the skins in the first place

...still waiting for where the skins are.....

Yeah, also check out the Textures.big in the Generals folder since ZH is an expansion, not a stand-alone game. You would find alot more skins in there.

ok but all my textures are in dds format. how do i get the uvw unwrap to get it in uvw format?

UVW is not a format. To use UVW Unwrap on them, you must first convert them into a usable format such as TGA.

i got a tga converter, and now gmax will load the file. i go to uvw mapping, edit, and then upload my skin in tga format. the texture still doesnt reach the form in Gmax. can you explain this? am i doing this wrong?

In the material editor, select "Show Map In Veiwport", if you're using GMax.
