I have a problem with my generals world builder.
I am building a map with a Train. the train works and it is driving around...
i also added a trainstation, where it stops. before it start moving again, I would like to spawn a 2500$ box.

how can I do that?

What you could do is the following:
Create an area right before the station through which the train engine has to travel and create a waypoint where you want the crate to spawn at the station.
Set a timer to expire in about 6 seconds when train engine enters area before station , wait time at station is 10 seconds so if you place the area so it takes about 3 seconds before the train engine stops the crate will be spawned about 3 seconds after arrival and about 7 seconds before departure.
Dont know if this all works, didnt test it...

i have an other problem... I dont know, how I can set a timer and spawn sth...

and I dont know whats to do with the downloaded thing...

at the windows explorer/computer it looks like a CD...

Well , He has sent you a Map , You can extract the folder inside of it in your Maps' Directory and open it using World Builder :

1. Extract "TrainStuff" Folder .
2. Put the Folder "TrainStuff" into Your Maps Directory ; Defualt Location :
- My Documents\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour Data\Maps\
3. Open C&C Generals Zero Hour and Look for the Map in "Solo Play\Skirmish\Unofficial Maps" .
4. Enjoy The Map .

I'm sure there are some Scripts in , Go to Edit/Scripts Where If you learn how to use , Will be able to make your own train with any Special thing you wish it has .
It would be easy , Just requires a little bit Experience everyone gains while trying and doing experiments .

I can open train stuff on zero hour

but...

when i try to open it on world builder, it works, but when I try to open the SKRIPTS to copy it into my map, the worldbuilder becomes white and close itself...

and, is it normal that at the map arent any objekts like traintrack or trainstation?

can you send me some screenshots? or the skripts here as letters?

Well this requires at least knowing the basics of WorldBuilder.

In acid's map he didn't place the train in the world but he spawns it after one frame from the map's start, using scripts and waypoints, the waypoint path called Railroad is the train's track it doesn't matter if the train has a track road or a station structure. The waypoint which name ends with Station is a station where the train stops.

The map he provided explains all you have to do in a very simple way, if you can go to edit > scripts and take 10 mins of your day to understand what is happening, you'll have more knowledge about this issue and won't have to ask someone to do it for you the next time.
If worldbuilder crashes when you go to Edit> Scripts, then I don't know how to solve this problem and you can wait for someone who has more experience in this stuff.

I like the idea, got me inspired...
What about at the start of a mission you have a cia agent and a few rangers, you have to get to the train station to get a money crate which you need to start building your base, once you have got the crate you have to go to a radio station with the cia agent and rangers to call in a chinook which will drop a dozer, meanwhile gla troops are trying to make your life miserable...
Do you mind if i steal your idea Alpha-1064? 😁
