As title because today I just made a futuristic turret which made to shoot 4 small laser beam and I am having fun with it but when applying the texture. gmax crashes and I did not save the file. Jeez. god damn it lol

Maybe you can make an OBJ file of the 3DS file, if im not mistaking there is a script for GMax/Renx to import OBJ files, did it in the past.
Here  is the OBJ tool...

I am 3ds max user. I can do in gmax and renx but I feel like some features I am get used to it not available in renx
