i'm trying to add infantry from other mod, made almost everything, but can't figure out where from is coming a circle under infantry-unit legs? it's not solid, has brakes in line and share same color as team color. where can i hide it? unit's ini probably, but where exactly?..

If it's from a mod there's not a lot we can do to help you, unless one of the creators happens to come by and read it. Even so you haven't specified what mod the unit came from anyway.
It could even be part of the model itself, in which case there's nothing you could do in the code to remove it.

seems you're right about in-model thing 'cause as i see all infantry in that mode(The End of Days) has these circles. i'll post screenshot later, maybe you can say some solution.

all infantry in that mod have the mentioned circles, but i can't believe creators were so.. dedicated to make all models like this for no reason. yet it looks like house-color to me so maybe it can be hidden as part of model..?

it probably works the same way all other faction colours work (I'm not a modeller but I have looked at EA's original models), Somewhere In the modelling program you can specify that part of the model will be in the faction's colour. (If you open w3dZH.big you will see that those sections are coloured red).

can't check, the only thing i have is finalbig and there one can't really figure out anything.

If the big archive contains w3d files you can view them in finalbig

It does appear the the circle IS part of the model. If you look (especially on the second image) you can see a 3 banded white circle.

it makes me crazy, i never worked around models %[ i found gmax by links in this forum, plugin for it for C&C games, installed, found bypass for registration and still nothing.
can somebody please just delete that circle for me, if i upload the model file?. i really know nothing about modelling and would prefer to stay stupid than to become nuts like i almost already am.   RUSNP_SKN.rar (94kb) downloaded 11 time(s).

as everybody appeared to be not experianced enough, i probably leave the solution here for those may search for similar. with RenX view model(that's another huge story HOW to open w3d), click on element you'd wish to disappear, copy its name and add in units .ini>model block a line to hide element with this name.

Rey, add the following line to every conditionstate that has the circle under the soldier...
This takes care of your problem...

Nerves are good for the learning curve, i bet you learned more by discovering it yourself then copying it from someone else...:P
