I was scrolling through the commandbutton.ini file and I noticed a note that said it was legal to add NEED_TARGET_OBJECT so that you could use the guard command on an object. I tried it, and I was rewarded for my efforts by the generic "You have encountered a serious error." Is it legal or not? did I mess something up by any chance?
I have been modding for quite some time now, and I can't see any errors.
Help?

Edit: can someone just tell me yes or no.

Troubleshooting step 1: Compare to something similar that works.

CommandButton Command_DisguiseAsVehicle
  Command           = SPECIAL_POWER
  SpecialPower      = SpecialAbilityDisguiseAsVehicle
  Options           = NEED_SPECIAL_POWER_SCIENCE OK_FOR_MULTI_SELECT NEED_TARGET_ENEMY_OBJECT NEED_TARGET_NEUTRAL_OBJECT NEED_TARGET_ALLY_OBJECT
  TextLabel         = CONTROLBAR:DisguiseAsVehicle
  ButtonImage       = SSBombDisguise
  CursorName        = DisguiseAsVehicle
  InvalidCursorName = GenericInvalid
  ButtonBorderType = UPGRADE ; Identifier for the User as to what kind of button this is
  DescriptLabel     = CONTROLBAR:TooltipDisguiseAsVehicle
  UnitSpecificSound = BombTruckVoiceModeDisguise
End

Your problem appears to be that NEED_TARGET_OBJECT is not valid. But NEED_TARGET_ALLY_OBJECT is.
