Is there a way to embed ocean waves into a custom user made map?

I know ocean waves can be generated using wakedit tool and I know how to use it.
However the generated wak file that it is required in order to see those ocean waves is not transferred using in game ftp map transfer.

I opened the default maps that are placed within MapsZH.big and I do not see any wak files for maps that do have waves when you play on them.So it looks like that ocean waves are embedded in the default stock maps somehow.

Do you know how is this done?

I'm afraid you're not looking hard enough. They all have WAK files.

You are right, there are some wak files for some maps. However there is not wak file for Tournament Island map, but I see waves when I play on it.

It actually does have a WAK file in the vGenerals directory, and IIRC zero hour does pickup a few things from there. I don't know why it doesn't have any coast waypoints though.

So there must be a different way to determine where the waves should be. Somehow hardcoded I guess?

The generals TD doesn't include wave waypoints either.

It's very unlikely to be in the EXE, and if it were stored in the map file then it would be visible in world builder. The only other possibility is that the WAK files themselves have the ability to store waypoints.
