i made several maps before and they never had this issue. now after revisiting the game all maps that i make are doing the same thing. any impassible terrain or buildings in a AI units way will cause the unit to get stuck. normally they would just go around. i even went back and checked my work compared to tutorials on this site which i had it all the same (waypoints, paths, perimeters). i'm using C&C First Decade and playing Zero Hour.

i have all the paths (Center, Flank, BackDoor)
i have the trigger areas (InnerPerimeter, OuterPerimeter, CombatZone, and Skirmish World)
i have the start points

is there any known issues with this? i haven't patched the game as is says 1.04. is there anything newer that that?

1.04 is the newest version.

Upload the map to some filehoster and post the link here. Cant help you without seeing the map.

edit:
i should also mention i'm running windows 7 64bit home. ran in compatibility mode, win xp sp2 and sp3. have set to run as administrator.

on the compatibility mode thing, you could try running it in Windows Vista SP2, thats what i have mine set for
one soul at a time
