Is it intentionally, that every late-tech requires a power plant?
For example, I wasn't able to build a tanya when I lost my power plant, because she requires it, altough I had plenty advanced power plants left.

Either the Tech-Center stopped working after my only normal power plant was destroyed, or tanya herself requires it.
Played a bit, I really like the flow now, combat is so much better. Great job :)

Will continue looking into this

If I press ^ and get into the "specials" menu, I can select the last ability in the middle tree which is called "Free Trade"

doubt that does anything anyway...

but yeah, also note that TRA+ is pretty much of a 'mod of a mod' - i dont have the source data so its kinda difficult to fix like every issue lol

updated again with a few changes

- Starting units removed... they were often unfair for early game and led to luck-based rushes (plus if you really want early units, its always possible script them into a map via worldbuilder anyway)
- Ore trucks now cost 1000, allowing for quicker economy start-up and recovery. truck health has been reduced slightly to compensate.
- V2's no longer need Radar Dome, so Soviets get some reliable anti-infantry capability right off the bat.
- Helipads can now build and support multiple helicopters, but note that pads can only do one thing at a time: either support a landed heli, or build a new one.... so to build new helis, you must ensure no heli's are already landed on the pad. this is partly because of engine limitations, but i think it's a fair deal anyway.
- Soviet tanks now correctly spawn a rifleman when destroyed, like allied ones already do.
- A couple of other balance tweaks: eg Allied Tech Center GPS kicks in sooner, Spy Plane less cooldown time, buff for Shocktroopers, cheaper Mechanics etc.

another quick update-
i have now made TRA+ a proper 'patch' (thus making it a lot smaller in size) for TRA 1.1, so you will need TRA 1.1 installed to play it.

this also means a few changes from TRA 1.1 are now included in current TRA+, eg
- fixed faction bonuses for spain, greece, england
- reload sounds for aircraft
- increased wall health
- music fixes
- AI tweaks


PS- delete the old TRA_1.0+ folder (and its contents) in mods\TheRedAlert\ as its not needed anymore

to open it you need winrar...
just google it - .rar files are very common lol

been working on a little mission map for TRA+

its based on (not a 100% copy of) the 10th mission in the RA1 soviet campaign
