I have this horrible bug in worldbuilder that I just don't know how to get rid of. I've reinstalled many times and no luck. It only happens when I try to use the terrain tools. After I attempt this, I get an error report (I'll take a screenshot) and I cannot do anything else aside from shutting down the program. It first occurred when making a map for CWC. Any help would be great.

NOTE* I have TFD if that makes a difference.   PrtScnWB.png (974kb) downloaded 10 time(s).
I tend to go on Worldbuilder binges for days at a time.

I can get rid of the error message (I've tried all 3 options) but I can't use the program after.

It should be like this:
Error appears, you press ignore, sometimes the error appears twice, again, click ignore, then it should work.
If not then what does it look like when the error disappears? Does it say "Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour World Builder does not respond", or does it just freeze?

It's only when I try to use the terrain tools. Then I have a + cursor and can't click on anything else other than the exit, minimize, etc.

Yes it should work, but not for him for some random reason, so I thought maybe he could print screen the freeze.

I think it's because I have Windows 7 and when I delete the ZH folder and then reinstall, it merely brings the old files back rather than a clean install.

I also have windows 7, and it's normal to get that error, but I just need to press the ignore button a couple of times then it's gone... Try to uninstall the game and then go to Start, Search, and type in "zero hour", and delete every file that shows up, erase the text and type "zero hour" again, sometimes even more folders shows up. Anyways, after you've done that try to re-install the game.

Problem solved (for now). By installing in a new folder, outside of Program Files (x86, I was able to bypass the bug that came up. Whatever file was corrupt was replaced when I installed the Human-Covenant War mod because WorldBuilder started working again.

And now it's back, giving me the same error with the terrain texture tool.

Did you try uninstalling the mod?
Wow, it has been a long time since I was last here.

Did you uninstall the entire game? Try my last suggestion.

I figured out the problem. When I maximized WorldBuilder immediately after opening it, that's what caused the bug. I had to open a map, bypass the errors and then maximize the program. Pretty ridiculous. But I have another bug. The player in the forth position comes up as a random faction but with no team. Any ideas?

The fourth spot in a map you've made, or in-game in the lobby where you select name/color/faction/team?

The 4th spot in the lobby. All of the perimeters are correct with attack routes, etc.

What exactly do you mean with "no team", do you mean like, if you choose him to be team 1 or team 2 etc, does it still show up as team "none"?
