Hello everyone, i am here to make a laser uplink cannon, or for more details, the laser that is fired out of the particle uplink cannon, i want to change everything into red. I have changed the color of the beam that fires, but the only thing i can't change to red is the flares that pops up when the particle cannon is about to open, and when the particle cannon is ready to fire.... Please, someone help me, and if you have any question about my question, please ask me because i really need the help.

My second question is, how to make a scud launcher and tomahawk launcher be like a superweapon like the one in contra i think. For example, you will need to wait a few minutes until the scud launcher is ready to launch, and then, we have to click a shortcut on the right or just click a button in the scud launcher and then you can launch a scud anywhere on the map. It just acts like a superweapon. Thank you everyone

You're going to have to look through everything linked to the particle cannon fire code, especially the particle effects.

Look at the code of the scud storm. It works similarly.

yes, but which code i need to find? i have find several codes in the weaponobjects file, which i edit to make the lasers red, but still, as i told you, the particle cannon cannot change colour (the laser that pops up around the particle cannon as it doors open).

and can you give more details with the scud storm? thanks , much appreciated

hey, i am sorry, by the way, does particle effects can be found in particlesystem.ini???? and if there is, i have searched it, and i found the particlecannon_outernodelightflare or something like that, and i searched down until there is color 1. But there, there is only G, R, B (Green, Red ,Blue), and no A. Please help

When the scud storm is launched, it fires it's primary weapon at the target. That's how mobile superweapons usually work. Observe how the scud storm works, copy it and change it to your liking.

but also, how do you change the description of the particle uplink cannon and its name?? because i already changed it to laser uplink cannon, and i want to change the description to '...this building fires a laser beam', not 'this building fires a particle beam'


and also, i have been trying to make the damage type 'Kill_Pilot' which jarmen kell uses to kill drivers, to be able to kill infantry. Because, i made the USA's pathfinder able to kill vehicle's pilot, so i changed the damage type from sniper to kill pilot, but even though the damage which i changed to 1000.0, it cannot kill infantry. Even though the armor.ini have been set that kill pilot may damage infantry, it still can't. help me please

the other problem is because of the above i cant seem to get it to work, i decided to put the special ability of jarmen kell (kill driver ability), but the button is greyed out. help

It's in the weapon code. Check the quad cannon or avenger and see how they do it.

Check the Chinooks contain module & the kindofs of the sentry drone.

It's a module in the units code. Search for laser in the Paladin or king raptors code.

I too, need help in adding a king raptor laser to one of my units. I have no idea how to though. Can you please guide me through the full process?

It is as simple as searching for PointDefenseLaserUpdate in the code of the king raptor. Copy from Behaviour to the next End & paste it in the code of the unit just above geometry.
