Does anyone know of a mod that improves the AI of your own units? So they don't sit there like idiots getting shot without retaliating, or run past someone that's shooting at them, less than three feet away and don't react.

This game is coming close to getting thrown in the bin because of this.

Anyone got any ideas?

Apart from using attack move and guard, I think it's pretty much impossible.

The only mod I know you can do with the AI is their natural ally guard. For example, if you have two quad cannons near each other and one gets shot, the other one will move to help it fight. With a mod it's possible to make them defend each other from across the map, but it would probably lag something chronic.

If you can give a specific situation, it might help us to help you, because there are some limited possibilities.
