Hi!
i have just upgraded my computer (had the same problem befor i upgraded it too)
but now that i have a computer that does not need half an hour
to start the world builder this becomes a problem

i have a problem with the Kane's wrath world builder:

Lets say i make a map and save it
then after a while i shut down the world builder to do something else

after a while i run the world builder again and open my map
(File -> Open)
then i choose the map i have been working on (Tournament_Desert_KW_Remake)
then press "open"
but nothing hapens like absolutlly nothing the "map opening menu" disapears just as if i realy opend it
i try agan but still it refuses to open
i am going nuts because sometimes i make Realy big maps and put down a
great amount of work just to notice that all my hard work is gone or (not able to open):banghead:

Have your browsed your data/maps file to see if the map is there? I don't have a fast PC and sometimes need to wait awhile for a map to load into WB especially if it's large. You said it was a large map, maybe it's just gathering up the information.

Hmmm...

the maps that i have made is not where they should be:
(C:\Documents and Settings\Administratör\Application Data\Command & Conquer 3 Kane's Wrath\Maps)
but in that folder i find two maps (both maps are maps downloaded form online)

i tested making a realy small map and then i mede it green (with a grass texture) then i save it as: Testmap
i started a new map then i press "File -> open" Now i double click on "Testmap" the open window dissapears but the map does not change :(

IS your "Testmap" in your maps folder? Unfortunatly, I don't have Kane's Wrath or I might be more help.

hmmm..
i have been messing around for a while now

i think that because of the fact that i have a swedish operating system
the game creates 2 admin folders (C:\Documents and Settings)
Nr.1: Administratör (messed up)
Nr.2: Administratör (corectly Spelled)

in the one that is all messed up the maps are saved (testmap, Tournament_Desert_KW_remake)
and in the other one the (maps) folder is empty

Maybe you can redirect the maps to be saved where you want. Also maybe remove all copies and try a fresh install. Just save your maps first to a new location.

why dn't you and or someone else try to open the testmap?   Testmap.zip (3kb) downloaded 25 time(s).

I don't have C&C 3 or I'd give it a look.

Probably you have installed non English vertion of C&C. My Russian vertion has C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Command & Conquer 3 Ярость Кейна way. But worldbuilder will try to create an English vertion of this folder C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Command & Conquer 3 Ярость Кейна (this is how it looks on my comp). So just copy your map into either of this 2 folders and your world builder will work and load this maps.
