I recently made this big file but when I open the game nothing has changed can anybody tell me what im doing wrong?

That's not quite enough, we need to know what's the .BIG file named to begin with and what's actually in it.

change the file name to 0thefinalbigrocketweapon.big

Unless you give us the portion of code that you added/changed, we can't help you.
